If you have the followings symptoms, our clinic may be of service for you. Here are examples of the symptoms of patients we see in
our clinic.
(1)Fever
a: When you do not know the cause or lasting for several weeks
b: When you have traveled abroad to countries which may have infectious diseases not common in Japan or developed countries
c: Low grade, about 37 cent grade, lasting for months
(2)Diarrhea
a: Possible infectious diarrhea caught during foreign travel
b: Unresponsive to treatment
c: Blood in your stool for unknown reason
d: Possible food poisoning, [frequently causing you to have nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
(3)Skin rash
a: Possible measles, rubella or chicken pox.
b: Fever with skin rash of unknown nature.
(4) Any other possible tropical diseases. Also if you think you might have HIV infections or if you had been already diagnosed to
have HIV infection and have letter of reference.
Our Infectious Diseases Division is well qualified and experienced in following fields:
1: "Imported Infectious Diseases" including tropical illness.
We provide rapid diagnosis and quality care for Malaria, Dengue fever, Hepatitis A, Typhoid fever, Amebic dysentery.
2: HIV infection
We have been taking care of patients with HIV since 1985 and have great deal of experience. Recent advances in treatment changed
this disease from fatal illness to controllable disease. Early diagnosis and treatment are the key.
3: Fever of Unknown Origin
We take care of any condition with fever and are capable of handling variety of febrile illness. We provide and receive consultation
service with rheumatology, respiratory and oncology specialties for efficient and prompt diagnosis.
